Stevie Wonder Brings the Funk

This is Stevie Wonder on Sesame Street.  It looks to be some time in the early 70’s, though I’m not sure.  Stevie brings the funk, the whole funk, and nothin’ but da funk.  It’s funkalicious.  Funkadelic.  Funkariffic.  He’s Funky D. Funkmeister.

Seriously, though.  This is awesome.  I wish Sesame Street still had these kind of musical appearances.  Sometimes I feel a little bit like an old fuddy-duddy curmudgeon who’s always harping about the good ole days.  Still, it makes me sad that you don’t see this kind of musicianship and raw groove much anymore.
