Communicate Better: Take Advantage of Learning Styles

Confused?I love communicating and I’m always looking for a better way to do it. When I was training to be a teacher many moons ago, we talked a lot about how people learn (metacognition). I had not thought about any of that information until I came across this article at CopyBlogger.

He talks about the 4 main learning styles (different psychologists break these up different ways) as they relate to blogging, but the application to all forms of communication are obvious. Whether you are a parent wanting to teach your 5 year old how to tie her shoe, or a cubicle jockey trying to show your buddy how to send an email attachment, this article will be very enlightening.

    I’ve never heard the learning styles broken down like this before. I really got into the learning modalities (Aural Visual Kinesthetic) when I was teaching, and it was fascinating. This adds a whole new dimension to it.

    Yeah, I had learned those same modalities when I was teaching. He breaks it down in a little simpler way here, but I think it still works.
